Walmart Pays Overages!

Some people have been asking how to additionally cut grocery costs, so I have been scouring the internet to find good coupon deals on food items.  But one thing to remember is that you can get paid overages for coupons at Walmart.

For example, last night I used the $5/1 Bengay coupon (no longer available) to purchase a BenGay 4.2oz creme at Walmart.  The store had it priced at $4.23, so they actually paid me $.87 to take it.  If this was the only thing on my transaction, Walmart will actually open the register and pay me in cash!  However, since I had other items in my transaction, the $.87 rolls over to pay for other items in my cart.

If you have one of these high-value coupons, use them.  If you do not need, donate or give away to someone who wants it.  This helps everyone as you get more discounts on your items and someone gets FREE BenGay (or other product)

FREE Reach Floss @ Target and Walmart

Go here to find a $1 off any Reach floss product.  I found the coupon on page 5 of all the coupons.  Target and Walmart routinely have the floss priced between $.89-$.98.  Remember, Walmart pays overages too!

CHEAP Ortega Taco Seasoning @ Target/Walmart

Jayme and I love making tacos.  Sometimes we make our own taco seasoning.  Sometimes we just pick some up.  So I like stocking up on a good deal.  Click here to get $1 off any two Ortega products, including the taco seasoning.

This usually sells for $.70 each.  So get 2 for $.40 with the coupon!

REALLY CHEAP Light Bulbs@ Walmart

Special thanks to Ashley L. for point this one out.

Right now, Southerm Indiana Walmarts have a special price reduction on compact florescent light bulbs, CFL, thanks to Vectren Energy. A 3-pack of GE13-watt bulbs (like using a 60w incadesent, is normally $6.  Grab them now for $.50!  They also have another brand that is selling a 6-pack of 13 watt for $1.  In either case, that is $.16 per bulb compared to $2 normally!!!!!  No coupon neccessary for these prices too!

I found at Newburgh and east side Walmart in Evansville with plenty in stock.  The east-side Walmart is limiting to 5 per customer, but I was able to grab more than that at the Newburgh location.

Look for the "Special Pricing brought to you by Vectren Energy" sign throughout the lightbulb section.

This is defintely a stock up price!  Be green and save some!

Find Coupons @ Walmart.com

Still searching online for coupon sites?  I have found a great resource at Walmart's coupon site here.  These are manufacturer coupons, so feel free to use wherever you are shopping.

While there, make sure you read Walmart's new coupon policy.  Did you know that if your coupon use exceeds the amount of money in your transaction, Walmart will give you cash back?  If not, then maybe you need to take a minute and read up on this here.

Cheap Scott Naturals TP @ Walmart

Scott's Natural 4-pack of toilet paper sells at Walmart for $2.68.  Use the $1.50 coupon located here and pay only $1.18/pack.  Remember, 2 coupons can be printed per computer.

If you received the P&G insert in last Sunday's paper, look for the $1 off Ivory soap coupon.  Walmart has the 3-pack bar soap for $.97.  Coupon does not have limitations, so free soap!
